Yup. The EMS is supposed to detect out of spec power, and act to cut it off immediately. No more, no less.

Dave, another good point but our thought when boondocking was to use the generator to primarily recharge the batteries.Not planning on using air conditioner. Only thing in the a/s that needs significant ac power is a small microwave so we would have to watch that. At least the ems helps us monitor current draw.
