Question F150 Alternator needs to be replaced?
Hi -

I believe my F150 alternator max capacity is 155 amps. Is this appropriate amps for towing a 2016 FC 19c?

According to the Ford service tech, my failed alternator is causing my dashboard gauges and indicators to shut down intermittently.

Ford recommends replacing the stock alternator. Should I consider installing a heavy duty alternator and if so what amp rating?
