Question electrical outlet problem?

OK i am hopping someone can help me out i removed the front panels in my A/S to fix a dent and some floor rot.
well aim going back together and cant remember how my two electrical outlets on the sides go back together there are two holes in the panel on the direct top and bottom. but the mounting screws for the outlet face are off center. i thought that it had some sort of bracket that held them in from the back side, but i cant seem to find anything in my parts that i removed.
any suggestions?

If you are talking about the plastic boxes for the 110 receptacles you should find 2 small plastic wings that fold out of the side of the box as you tighten the screws at the top and bottom. Make sure the screws are far enough back out that they will allow the wings to swing out and clear the back side of the wall as you tighten the screws. Once the wings go out they will hold the box in place.

If this is not what you are asking about yes a picture would help.

You should be able to use the 4 you have.

If the one wing is too loose on the screw just slip a sliver of a match stick in along side of the screw to tighten things up. As long as you don't do chin ups on the cords as you pull them out of the socket that will work.

There is a little flower icon on your camera, or should be. That is for close-up pictures and may help you pictures turn out sharper.
