For storage, I'd like to connect a Battery Tender to my 23FB FC. Since there are two batteries, is there a proper way to connect the trickle charger so that it chargers/monitors both batts or does it require two chargers??
if your batteries are in parallel, the proper way would be to connect the Tender red lead to the positive terminal of one of the batteries and connect the Tender black lead to the negative terminal of the other battery.
If your batteries are in series, then connect to Tender red lead to the (most positive) +12 V terminal and connect the Tender black lead to the (most negative) GND terminal.
Hope that's clear.

Thanks for responding. This begs the question, are stock Airstream batteries "in parallel" or "in series?"
Unless you have changed to 6V Batteries, yours are in parallel. You can confirm by looking at them. If the positive from one battery is connected with a jumper to the positive on the other; and the same for negative...they are parallel. Two 12v batteries in parallel put out 12V, just double the stored power is available compared to one battery. It's like having a bigger battery.
6V batteries are connected in series, which adds the voltage together to create 12V.
Due to non availability of power at my storage lot I also bring my batteries home and maintain on two seperate smart chargers. I did the 6v conversion some time ago and they are HEAVY. A lift strap is Absolutely necessary.
