I have heard too many bad things about the Optima batteries. Look at the Lifeline AGM brand.....a little more costly but a far superior product!!!!

Lewster has the answer. I have 2 Lifeline batteries and I am very happy with them, they are a little more $ but if you think you have the best trailer why not buy the best batteries? If anyone is interested in buying new batteries, seriously look at Lifeline, you will be happy.

David - Along with Lewster and Basecamp, I endorse the Lifeline AGM batteries. They're the best I've ever used.

batteries

i agree that the lifeline battery is good, but here in canada they are $382 each, now i will God willing be going to USA within two weeks , down the west coast, so if any member knows of a good outlet with good prices , please let me know, also do i need a different charger or controller, what i have read the inverter that comes with the 22 ccd 2005 is not very good for agm batteries.

thanks to all for responding th my posts

bateries

i am going to get the lifeline batteries in the USA $199 usd each, is this a good price? its from empire batteries in Tigard Oregon.---i also talked to airstream and they said i needed nothing else to charge them, also phoned lifeline and they said that with the converter that is on the 22 ccd 2005 it would charge it but very slowly, but charging from the tow vehicle would be better as that puts out 14.2 instead of the converters 13.2-13.8.

i have also decided to stay with the water filter from general ecology, the seagul which we used when we were sailing for five years, we never had a problem, goes down to 0.4 good against bacteria and viruses.

the upgrades continue

thanks to all
