Just purchased a nice
1965 17'
Caravel - Seller's husband padded away and she had no idea where systems where located/etc. - I haven't done any snooping around yet or any testing since I've been busy past 2 days but have read theu several records.
Caravel was taken to Airstream dealership in 2015 for servicing and to repair any issues - i saw notes that the battery was not charging but doesn't look like any repairs were done to remedy.
I am familiar with how converter works as my old
1966 Airstream had one which the
12v system ran off of when plugged into household current.
**questions:
- where is the converter located?
- if converter not charging battery, does this mean it will not be functioning at all?
- what model/brand converter would you suggest if it is not operating
