SoCal Brand-Newbie

Hi All --
My 1999 airstream 190 arrived yesterday! I spent today exploring it with 'she who has final approval'- my dog. There's unfortunately a cat-spray scent in there that's pretty noticeable, but I'm hoping febreze does the trick. And Samm didn't seem to mind. Anyway, I'm here in SoCal and looking forward to meeting new friends in the airstream community. This is my first, so I'll be resourcing these forums alot. Thanks for being here!
Marsha

join us

next weekend at Lake Cachuma, no reservations required, folks will be there from Thursday thru Sunday, most likely in the Barona section. 5 or 6 trailers and our motorhome. We are less than 10 miles away in Tujunga. Use the search function for Californina streamers and you will see several rallies scheduled including Vail Lake in Temecula in January and San Clemente in February

Hi Marsha,
Welcome! This is a great site with great people. As str8strm pointed out, the California group is very active, partly due to the climate we live in. If you are looking for a fun group, try out a rally.
There is also a ton of info on any trailer/motorhome related subject - I hope you have time to do some reading!
Nice to have you,
Dave

Welcome !

You'll find that there are planty of stermer nuts here in SoCal as well as the rest of California. Make sure you join in at our get togethers! You'll have questions answered, learn little secrets about the AS world and learn to drink Margiballs!

Check out the Ralleys . You'll see we have two in the upcoming year (January and February). Plus a few of the stremers as Ron mentioned are getting together next weekend.

In any case, Welcome to the wonderful World of Airstream'n !

Safari-Rick

Marsha,
There is always some tutoring at rallies. The last one I was at, there was an awning being installed and a window resealed and rivets installed, complete with explanations of the process. People are always happy to talk about their or other folks A/S trailers.

Marsha,

WELCOME!

Here in So Cal. We rally like loons. Join us for one and you'll not only have a good time but you'll learn alot about your rig and get any lessons you might want.

The California Streamers is a group of folks that rally together. Everybody is always invited along.

Welcome to the party, Marsha...you are in good company and in for one good time with your Airstream! And what's even better is that there are plenty of folks here who are willing to answer questions and help you learn the ropes...

See you down the road!
