Thanks for the pics. The Golden Touch interior was my 1st choice, but my other half is not fond of red, so I had to compromise. S&M

Congratulations !

Welcome to the club. Just to let you know - if anyone catches you sleeping in your AS while parked in your driveway, don't worry, we've all done it!
I even like to just sit in there and read or watch TV.

May all your trips be joyous and safe !

Wow

Congratulations. Talk about diving into the deep end of the pool.... hey, enjoy it! All the Airstreams are great, and I'm sure you're going to enjoy yours so much. Also enjoy these forums. There are great ideas on storage, modifications, tow vehicles, etc. on these forums. Use the "Search" tool and you can bring up postings from 2 or 3 years ago.

One of the best - use Ziploc bags or (or equivalent brands) for storing cereal, flour, sugar, etc. The curved upper storage containers are odd spaces and the bags conform nicely. Also you'll probably only want to carry small amounts of these staples, and the bags keep them fresh easily.

Wow! Congratulations to you. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's Airstream. I think was the eleventh commandment which Moses dropped on his way down the mountain. Enjoy and have fun.

Nice choice.

Way to go. I've got a few pictures posted with my 2006 34' Classic. We've only had it out once since we got it last fall but sure will be looking forward to using it with summer. It's a really nice lay-out. Did you go with the L-lounge in front or the coach across the front only?

Anal Tendencies

My husband says I research everything to death. I actually started looking at 5th wheels with multiple slides. He is more singleminded and has always dreamed of owning an AS. The deeper I looked into things I realized most of the complaints revolved around the slides. Alot of the AS problems were minor and easily correctable.
This will be our "home" when we are home, since we are a longhaul huband and wife team and are on the road 2mos. at a time. I think we will enjoy it. Happy Trails, S&M

Options

We went with the coach across the front plan. The lounge is great, but after being in a truck together for a good stretch the more open appearance of our floorplan does wonders for the soul.
