New owner in Ca

Greetings everyone! Just inherited my wife's grandparents 66 safari 22 that they bought new and travelled the country in. All of the original appliances work. The interior is original but dirty from my wife's dirty father in law spending a few months a year living in the mountains in it and smoking inside but not using the shower enough. Supposedly he recently rebuilt the breaks and repacked the wheel bearings. I'll have it professionally inspected then professionally detailed but don't plan on much more for a while. I have a 5 year old boy and the three of us will use it as much as we can through the end of the year to see what we like, don't like and wht could change or be improved. Definitely an exterior shower using the AS factory kit and a propane disconnect so I can use my camp chef 3 burner stove outside as often as I can. I'm really looking forward to meeting and learning you all, learning as much as I can about Airstreams from the experienced folks around here and spending as much time away from home as I can in our new (to us) trailer. Cheers!

Geoff
