New member but no Airstream YET

Hi Airstream families. My husband and I are considering the purchase or an Airstream Travel Trailer sometime in the future (next year or so) and are interested in learning more about the good/bad experiences of others. We also need info on selecting the right size, style, etc. We want to take time to visit many different location in the USA as well as spending time in Michigan and Florida. We hope to visit the rally in Tipton in September and hear from others on this website. Thanks for your help and input.

Welcome aboard! This and the rally are excellent places to learn. Airstreaming is a great and most traditional way of travel, always feels good. Well, except when something breaks. You'll learn how to take care of it here and your experience, and it will last a lifetime and look good all the way.

Welcome gjwalls123.

We're glad to have you with us and we wish you well on your selection process. A search of the site should provide you with a slew of information. Hopefully you won't experience a sensory overload. If you do, or simply can't find the answer you're looking for then feel free to post any questions you may have.

Decisions

You are at the right place, and I encourage you to read, read, and read some more. We were in the same situation as you a year ago, and after much research, and looking at different models, decided that on what we wanted, then the search was on. We liked the layout of the 25' Classic, with twin beds and the fold down tables. We felt it has the most room for the overall length and is finished out nice on the interior. Unfortunately, this seems to be a popular model and while finding one is hard enough, most seem to sell very quickly. Our longest trip to date has been two weeks, and to say that we are elated with it would be an understatement, and all we do is look forward to our next trip. Good luck in your search, hope you find one close, and don't forget that Airstream folks love to help.
