New Airstreamers in Texas
Hi! My husband and I bought a 75 Ambassador this summer, and we are looking forward to using it soon. Other than cleaning it up, and some minor work on the shower fitting, we've not done much.
We live in Austin, Texas, moved here 5 years ago from the Dallas area. We are keeping the Airstream at some property we have in the Hill Country, and am not sure we'll be hauling it very many places.
I've enjoyed reading the forums and looking at everyone's photos. Regards, Jan

Mojo62,
You folks still out there? Like to know how your project is coming. If you run through the big city of Bertram on the way to hill country our old tramp is hiding amungst the boats behind the RR depot. Err, it is a work in progress.

Come to the party
Come to the First Texas Vintage Rally January 31 - February 4 at Haven's Landing in Montgomery, TX. It is posted here on this forum.
No need for WBCCI membership. Haven's Landing is one of the finest RV parks I have ever tied up at and we expect somewhere close to 100 rigs attending. Vintage rigs will be parked in their own section with an open house on Saturday.
If you can attend only part of the rally, the rally fee will be adjusted accordingly.

Welcome to the Forums from Florida. Best of luck with your new Airstream. If you keep reading these Forums, you will most likely want to get her on the road.

Welcome from Mansfield Texas. It is always great to see more Texas Airstreamers. Or for that matter, any new Airstreamers.

Lot's of great info. My old girl is not ready to roll yet...neither is my AS, but goal is to atleast look the part by May. Looks like a refugee from a deer lease as she sits now (my soverign that is). I reckon I should have read all the post before I bought her
