New Airstreamers!

HI! We are Douglas Cunningham and Cheryl Moniz from South Carolina, members of the Coastal Carolina unit. We just bought an '09 FC 28 and Toyota Tundra TV a few months ago. We've taken only 2 trips in it so far, working out the bugs. We're preparing for our first cross country trip from Charleston SC to Las Vegas in July.

We've been married almost 25 years, have 5 daughters, 6 grandkids, and 2 beagles.

Douglas is a retired photographer, and I am a wine consultant for a Napa Valley winery. Our hope is to supplement our income and make lots of friends doing wine tastings across the country, in RV parks, homes, etc. The wine is excellent, by the way!

Can't wait to meet the great Airstream community on the road!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great trip. How can we get in on that Wine Consultant gig?

Hello from Colorado: Welcome to these Air Forums. You are wise to take some shorter trips at first to "get the bugs out" as you suggested. For me, there are always "bugs" to get out when we travel. That is one part of traveling that I enjoy; most of the time.

We have a beagle too. Cute but kinda dumb.

Too bad, none of us photograph our travels nor enjoy wine!
Welcome to the group.

Welcome to the forums. Charleston to Vegas is an interesting trip. Sharing wine is not a bad gig either. We quite enjoy tastings and the satisfaction of finding a good wine. Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, North Coast and many other areas are producing great wine. Hope your trip goes well.

Looking forward to seeing your rig and smiles down the road. Pat
