Finally got one

Hello there all you airstream & argosy owners. I'm new to this site, just got a 75 argosy 24 in great shape and looking forward to learning & conversing & hopefully teaching a few things to & from all of you. I have been a "camper" pretty much all of my life. My dad has been in the rv sales business since '74, and since I got married 25 years ago, started a family of my own, I found that camping was without a doubt the most fun and definitely for us the cheapest way to vacation & spend time together as a family. Our last rip "together" (4 daughters, 2 married, 1 in college & 1 in high school) was to Disney World. We had not done that in 12 years. We actually left the youngest, at age 1, at home on our first trip. Towed a 29' Terry resort with my 85 k20 suburban (which I still have) It was an awesome trip & 12 years later we made it back, all of us this time. Many, many trips have been taken in between though, sometimes we pitch a tent ( the girls have always done a church organized "girls camp" 4 days in tents, in the woods during summer, since they were 12) We "dry camp" alot at Ocracoke island NC national park in a travel trailer, even a couple of times in a $200k Itasca motorcoach! Now we are downsizing and I couldn't be happier. The argosy is so sweet, I can't wait to go somewhere. Any way, thanks for having me, I'm a pretty handy guy, I actually own & operate a automotive repair service bussiness, We do rv repair also. (mostly motorhomes, chassis & engine work) So if I can help you, Don't hesitate to ask. I know (because I already have) I will get lots of help & great ideas from all of you!
THanks, PD

Welcome PLdodd. Congrats on your airstream purchase. They are kinda a love/hate relationship at times but the love definitley out weighs the hate!

It is great to hear of another K20 out there towing a trailer, even a 'new' one like yours By golly, post some pics when you can, I/we absolutely love photo's. Again, welcome aboard!
