Welcome and Congratulations!! You should maybe make a plaque to remind you that it takes experience to avoid mistakes, and mistakes to gain experience... You should learn the "Search" process here on Forum (type key words into blank under word SEARCH above right in blue bar..). Words like newbie or new owner will bring up series of messages on how to get going...
My list of top 3 includes:
1. Try driveway camping for first night, with extension cord and hose (you won't be able to run A/C) just to get hang of sleeping, cooking, showering, etc.. You will learn some useful things for sure..
2. Search for "checklists" and copy or create one to cover hookup, unhitching, and packing.. AS lists evolve, it becomes easier to decide what to duplicate and keep in trailer and what goes in and out of trailer and tow vehicle each trip..
3. Be willing to stretch after you get comfortable.. Plan a trip to Canadian Maritimes or Quebec or beyond local comfort zone.. The trailer can handle it, and that is the real amazing aspect of "Trailer Travel", as Wally Byam wrote in his famous book in
1962...
