Albuquerque Man seeking Airstream in local area

Anyone able to direct me to the Albuquerque group, I am interested in purchasing an airstream and thinking maybe one of them might want to sell theirs. I am looking for a smaller size 23' 25' safari. Thanks.

here's where to go to find your trailer:

Howdy and welcome to Airforums, Wally! You have come to the right place to ask any and all questions about Airstream.

If you are in "want to buy" mode, I would suggest you put an ad in our Classifieds section. They are free, and get lots of action.

You'll see a link just left of centre near the top of this page, and just use the same login name and password to gain access.

Good luck!

Help Seeking Airstream in Albuquerque

Hi Wally,
Airstream owners here in Albuquerque may belong to the NM Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI), or the more geographically diverse Four Corners Unit. Other owners will be independents who have never joined the WBCCI or those who joined and grew weary of the politics.

As with any group, some members are more technically astute than others when it comes to giving reliable advice. Though I belong to both units now, I find the Four Corners Unit has a greater proportion of technically astute members, in fact it has some real heavywights when it comes to restoring and maintaining Airstreams.

I suggest you plan on attending the 2012 FCU Maintenance Rally at the Enchanted Trails RV Park on the western outskirts of Albuquerque. There you will meet some of our most severely afflicted alumanauts.

Many of us in the area will help you inspect the Airstream of your dreams and help you determine if you are about to embrace a Sleeping Beauty or a sleeping toad that will never be a Princess no matter how many times you kiss it.

Finding a 23' or a 25' is going to be a challenge. Only you and several hundred others are looking for one right now.

And they rely upon the technical, financial, culinary advice from the Airstreamers in TEXAS. We really don't pay attention to anyone weight status either.
