75 Argosy Twin Dinette Setup
For Canoe stream and anyone else who is curious about the setup of a dinette and water tank in a 1975 Argosy 24:
Hope these pictures aren't too large to load or too small to see. If so, I'll take more and try again.

I just bought a 24' 1977 Argosy two days ago, but it has a sofa where I presume your dinette is at the front of the trailer. I really kinda like your setup better; did you convert the area or did your model and year come that
way?

They came either way, depending on how it was ordered. A dinette is nice if you have a family of four to eat every meal, but if it is only two people, the front gaucho (what the couch is called) allowed more space in the front, and a roomier feel. Center twins and center double bed were also options.

JB, I see you have an OEM Par water pump. They are easy to repair, and low amp draw for boondocking. Noise is an issue, especially if somebody is trying to sleep directly over it.

R. Fischer,
As usual, Mr. Overlander63 is correct! My unit was built with the dinette. It's absolutely perfect for our family of 4.
Terry,
I did not know about that pump. I do know it works, and yes, you definitely know when it kicks on. You can bet I'll call on you when it's ready for an overhaul (ha!)

My PO had mounted my pump on a small approx 8"X8" piece of plywood and it was very noisy. I was able to use some foam weatherstripping pieces to isolate it and reduce the noise significantly. FWIW.

I've also heard of others sandwiching a piece of closed cell foam (like an exercise mat or sleeping pad) between the plywood and the pump. Most of the noise you hear usually comes from the vibration on that hard wood. Just a thought.
