Sure enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for sharing them. I love the old ones from the 50's and 60's. They bring back many fond memories of travelling with my family - although we could never afford an AS back then. We just envied those who had one. Those folks look about as relaxed as I'd like to be right now.

What great photos. I enjoyed them all, but the old family/rally photos are priceless. I just imagine my AS is one of those parked next to yours, but of course I have no idea of my trailers history. More please as you have time.
Very nice, man you have your work cut out for you! Looks like a sweet project!

For all of your pleasure, I've posted many updates to the blog since I last posted on this thread. Enjoy! And a Happy New Year to you all! Let me know what you think!
I just added a few more pictures of the restoration. Enjoy!
Wow! Amazing, I didn't see any sign of "acid wear" when I saw your Airstream last week. Of course GSM had not started polishing at that point and the SOTR still had all her years of travel showing on her skin.
When you are in Plattsburgh please hug "The Tube" for me. Her Mom (me) is going through a period of major separation anxiety; I keep checking the weather reports for Plattsburgh, thinking she has snow on her (we built a barn for her to live in so she is not normally left out in the weather when we are not camping). I keep questioning my husband on things like: "Did you remember to turn off the propane? Did you chock the wheels? Did you close all the shades so the Sun cannot fade the interior?". He's pretty much ready to have me committed......

Hello everyone. I just posted a few pictures of the SOTR moved outside. MyBoyBurt, I think we are right next to the Tube now! So, we are neighbors now. Hi Neighbor!
Looking good Rob and Colin. Making great progress. Now that the windows are in, I'll bet progress will really move along. Where did you locate the proper antenna?

Hey Rob!
Yep, that my baby next to your baby.
I'm looking forward to the day "The Tube" can move inside at GSM, it will mean she's that much closer to coming home.
Are you already working on the interior cabinets for SOTR, and do you know what your layout is going to be? I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got planned. Do you believe you're going to be ready for the Cherry Blossom Rally?
