Hello Matt - Welcome to the Forums! R.J. Dial's actively follows the market and keeps his Price vs. Condition - Airstream Values website up to date. There are a lot of variables needless to say. Foremost is, "Are you happy and looking forward to using it?"

Matt,

All depends on condition. Take a look here for some information: Price vs. Condition - Airstream Values

That's a tough one to answer, since there are so many variables. Some insist that the longer trailers are of lesser value, so keep that in mind. I see 70's Overlanders sell anywhere from 3k ( fixer uppers) to 30k for a pristine model, one that has been redone properly.

So, if you paid around 10k for a nice original trailer with all systems working, then you're more than likely within the ball park, as you put it.

It is very common that a trailer of the vintage you're looking at will need expensive repairs, such as axles, holding tanks, metal repairs, and interior fix-ups. 72's originally did not have grey tanks, which is a popular retrofit.
