Mirror-Glass WC Cabinet Doors Shatter
We love our 2006 Safari 28' but a few odds and ends are incredibly poorly designed:
Item: The two sliding mirror-glass doors on the lower cabinet in the bathroom bounced out of their slots on a rough road (I 10) and shattered.
Item: The screws that hold the trim in place above the front and back windows are poorly-galvanized steel and have rusted.
Item: The handles that are used to open the door beneath the couch are so poorly attached that they pull out of the door instead of opening it.
Item: The edges of the Formica counters are so sharp we have literally cut ourselves on them.
Item: After about 240 nights the provided foam mattress is about done for.
Item: Two of the overhead dome lights have fallen apart.
The trailer is still in warranty so we'll see how much of this Airstream is willing to make good, but this stuff is sure disconcerting.

P.S. Oh, and the cotton pickin' pin in the lower hinge keeps backing out no matter what I or the dealer does!
