Well we signed a contract to sell house yesterday after being on market 5 days had two offers one was over asking one 6000.00 below easy choice. We were happy that the buyers are campers. They had been looking for place that they could park there camper, and we had a awning for truck and camper that they just loved. Now its down to the inspection and closing we are a bit nervous about every thing going well. We had already sold everything we could and still live in the house and have buyers for most every thing still left. But it feels like we have a thousand things to get done before closing. The wife's retirement date is Aug 5 and then the big adventure begins. Became Florida residents just last week feels good to be so near our goal but also a bit nerve racking to be leaving our comfort zone. Our AS had a leaking A/C issue so having new A/C with the new drain system installed that does away with the traditional pan and uses two small cups with an interconnection hose and uses two gaskets. Wish us luck in the next few weeks that all goes smooth. Great camping to All. Rand
How did you work the Florida residency? I have had two offers on my house and they both fell thru due to financing issues. Banks are really clamping down these days. Good luck, hope the closing goes smoothly.

Do you know what a learning experience is? A learning experience is one of those things that says "You know that thing that you just did? Don't do that."
Well the buyer had a letter from bank saying they were already approved so we hope that is not going to be an issue. As for the move to florida we set up with Rvmail.com had our bank and other business dealings send us some mail to the new address had checks sent to new address. After all that we took all that to the Florida DMV office took birth certificates DD214 (military) Titles for RV and truck Wife will need marriage license Current drivers license and proof of auto insurance. It took about two hrs but no running around here and there went smooth.
We were able to pay for two yrs worth of plates total for two driver license truck and airstream with turtle and whale plates was $750.00. Not as much as we were told plates depends on birth month and size of truck the airstream is due date of birth and my 2500 diesel dodge is due dec 31.That includes new titles. Weird but seems every state has it's quirks.
