I've included 2 pictures of the finished product.

Scotta,
How do you insert closing information regarding your coach equipment at the bottom of your posts?

Just go to the User CP (control panel) and on the left side you'll see a Edit Signature box to click.

Mine works fine while moving on down the road, but does not pick up very much with the roof antenna stowed. Also, once digital becomes the norm only strong signals will be watchable. (not that we would do it mind you!). As long as the inverter is on the TV will have power. Not sure if was meant to be that way originally, but after the inverter was installed, that is how it now works. As far as the law is concerned, since there was a TV there originally, what is different? Besides who can see in from the road anyway other than truckers?

The "small, crappy" can be replaced relatively easy. I replaced my factory built in 9" TV with a flat screes 15", pictures attached. This also made for more head room when moving around the bed.

Gloran...
Like your installation. Since mine is in a box on the opposite side in an '03, a couple of questions. Is the board in the ceiling part of the old mount or did you add that. If you did, what is it mounted to?
Thanks.

Great question ! I was just about to ask it. Hope we get a response. I am replacing my TV with two 19 " flat pannels DVD combos next week. I wonder what they did with the CO detector and light switch that were mounted to the original TV case? I will post that question. Also I am attaching the first picture of the Konecto floor I just had installed. I really think in turned out good. Makes the coach seem bigger.

Great install. Was your original TV in a case that had a light switch for the light over the bed and a CO detector mounted on the side of it? If so, where did you move them to?
Great job!!

Scotta,
Floor looks great. You can move that CO detector. It is battery powered. The 03 has a mirror and (very) small vanity in the corner under the TV enclosure. I ran a power strip from underneath it up to the power for the TV. My wife uses it for hair dryer and such freeing up the bath when we are spiffing up for a night out. Did you get rid of the carpet in the toilet area on your mod?

Thank you. I did not remove the carpet around the toilet or the front seat area of the coach. I am not sure what I may do with the carpet around the toilet. I like the contrast between the floor and the carpet. Tile might look pretty good. I may tile that section at some point. I will post more pics of the floor tomorrow night. Next week I install the new TV's and then I am done for a while.

Mine also was installed in a corner box. When I removed it, there was an indentation left on the padded ceiling. So I cut a piece of oak plywood to match the indentation. The light switch off the old TV box easily remounted onto the plywood. My CO detector was also mounted on the old box, but I opted to purchase a plug in style and use it in the outlet at the head of the bed. I bought a universal wall mount at Best Buy to mount the television to the plywood. Also, inside the TV box there was a 12 volt plug in adapter plate that I remounted. If you can find an AC/DC flat screen in your price range that would be great, if not, you can just buy a small inverter to plug into the 12 volt that will accept the AC plug on the television.

Sorry, I guess I didn't answer your question regarding what the plywood is mounted to. When the old TV box is removed you will see where it was previously screwed into the ceiling, I just screwed into the same area. I countersunk the screws into the plywood and hid them with oak buttons.

Perfect description that will help me a great deal. Did not think about the inverter. I guess I will need one up front also for the other new TV.
Thank you.

Scotta,
The light switch on the plywood is for the bedroom ceiling light.
Your flooring looks very nice

Scotta,
I also had to use an inverter on the front television, most new televisions draw less amps than the ones you are removing, so when you purchase the inverter or converter???? you know what I'm talking about make sure the amps are large enough to handle your new tv.
