30 ft. Land Yacht Gas with Slide

We recently toured a new 30 ft. Land yacht with a slide and was very impressed. Anyone got any impressions or experience that you would share? Would appreciate information on the motorhome and also the chassis.

Thanks in advance.

Sam

The chassis is a Workhorse. It was actually a GM/Chevrolet chassis years ago, but now is a unique company. These are used underneath many gas powered motorhomes.
The engine is the newer version of our venerable 454 and with proper care will go a lot of miles.
As for the Airstream part or "house" the quality has been good on these and the owners I have met have very much enjoyed their experience. Airstream as a brand is valued for its quality.
If you dig here you will find more info, although many of our members post about older motorhomes, as they require more attention to maintenance and repair.Good luck, and ask away.

Just bought a LY Gas 30SO. Have put 1800 miles on it so far. Am very pleased with the engine and drive train. Still have a few bugs to work out, though, and Airstream is taking care of everything.

I have a 2005 LY Gas 30SO and love it!

I had a check valve hang up for the backflush system, but other than that everything has worked fine.

Here's a great site to tell you about your new workhorse chasis.
