2004 land yacht 26ft electric

I have 2 deep cycle batteries I bought this year. They both now show 2.6 volts, so I don't have any lights inside. If I plug into 110 house current, I still don't have any lights. The only thing that works is the microwave. If I start the motor, in 5 to 10 seconds, the lights come on, and everything is fine. Is the power convertor bad. With in an hour the batteries are back down to 2.6 volts. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Rusty

Converter

Yes, I'd check the converter first.

Check the converter first then have the batteries checked again too.

In November 2016 I bought 2 new batteries for the diesel engine from Advance Auto. 6 months later they were not holding charges. Took them back to AA and they tested bad, both were replaced free with another year warranty. This set has not been a problem.

Thanks Guy's. The convertor was bad. Replaced with new one, and working great. Thanks again Rusty
