Noob airhorn question

I have air horns on my 345.... but I have no idea where that "button" to activate them is, I presume it's different than the horn button in the center of the wheel - regular horns work fine.

Thanks!

While they may look like air horns, I think you'll find them to be electric horns instead of air horns; at least mine were. They would be driven from the horn pad in the steering wheel, but people like my PO have had issues with the connections to the horns and since replaced them with ones under the hood.

Cheers
Tony

Even my electric 'air' horns don't work properly. I've bought a great set of real air horns, as well as a cheap air horn Harbor Freight air horn system. Figure pump will go in upper cab cabinet, air hose to roof, wiring already there. We'll see, thinking of 'acquiring' another project tomorrow as well lol

You guy are correct. after further looking they are electric without an air side. Not sure worth the effort to fix when a couple of Fiamm's will honk the hair off your head if you're in front of them.

Thanks!

The PO added electric horns because the Hadley Air Horns must not have been working. I did a systems diagnosis, dismantled the air horns themselves, and they were full of debris. I blew them out, and reassembled. I then checked the electric, and for whatever reason the solenoid for the air horn was disconnected. I reconnected it, tested the system. Verified resistance, current, and voltage to ensure it was not a preventative measure. It looks like someone was working on the rig and just forgot to reconnect it. So I have fully functioning air horns, and electric horns. When I press the horn I get a loud blaring from a total of four horns. Two electric and two air. It scares the bejoobers out of people who try to get too close to my rig. And truth be told, I like it, because their reaction is to move away.
