Just bought a 345LE

You can add our name to the list of proud classic Airstream Motorhome owners. We just put a deposit on a 345LE 454. It is in excellent condition with every system and part (except for the blinds) in working order. It is clean and running strong.
We will take delivery at the end of the month. The PO is going to give us the full tour of the rig, showing us everything that he can and we will then have a shakedown camping trip in Lodi overnight with friends.
I have dreamed of this since I first saw a classic AS MOHO. Now we have one and I am so excited. The PO is even throwing in a towed vehicle that actually matches the paint of the MOHO. What could be better.
The PO has a muffler & brake shop and has put a lot of time into making sure that all systems are in top shape. I even looked underneath the rig and it appears clean and well maintained.
We can't wait to bring her home and start to getting to know her. Working on a name now....
It has a Mile Marker electronic overdrive and the doorbell works (it's so cute). Wow - I could go on and on...

That was a very nice looking machine indeed. I didn't spend much time looking in the tour because I didn't dare get that bug.

Ron,

It IS all your fault! If we had never seen your rig and especially the spotlight on top, we would not have been as interestyed. Well, maybe we would have been delayed. But we first saw yours at NorCal casini Ranch and put our good faith depoosit at Norcal Jackson Rancheria.
You will have a chance to see her at the next NorCal if you are there.

It is sure a beautiful unit. Not a diesel but I will not complain. I will post more pictures as I can... Did I mention that the doorbell works?

I knew you were people of discriminating taste. You're way ahead of us, with a working door bell. If you need to replace the blinds, we got ours at Home Depot. Also, ours isn't diesel either, and we're glad. Have fun. Ron

Congratulations!

Tim and Kimber,

Congratulations on the newest member of your silver brood!

On-board generator! Yee Haw!

We took a quick peek at her and saw the wheel you paid for-sure is purty!

We'll look forward to seeing you behind the wheel soon!

Yea, for those who don't know I figure my $500 deposit covered the right front wheel. Now I have to come up with the rest. Did I mention about the doorbell?

It couldn't have been yours, but we saw one exactly like it today heading north near (the nearly empty!!) Lake Shasta.

Congrats, Buttercup! We LOVE our 310 classic and know you will adore yours as well! They are some pretty incredible vehicles. And a working doorbell, sigh. It's on our list...

I saw the ad for the same motorhome and was sorely tempted to get it as I LOVE the looks of the 345 and yours looked like a good investment. Congratulations.

A working doorbell...? Ours works on a schedule known but to the coach, itself...sometimes a 'ding', sometimes a 'ding-ding', and sometimes nothing...looking forward to parking next to you and comparing gas mileage...
