Steve

I plan on replacing them and cleaning up the connectors this winter. I also going to do the battery isolator as well. Any info on source of supply would be great!

This is what I ordered from www.delcity.net
I needed 2 with one kind of mounting bracket and 1 with a different type of bracket and I ordered some type of rubber cover for each as well. I will report back how well they fit.

Great, will wait for your report before proceeding.

I have to locate a compatible isolator in the mean time. Not to mention a whole lotta stuff to do on the inside!

That's pretty cheap! I've been paying about $12 - $16 for ones like the one pictured above. They are metal housings.

I want to report back how this fix worked out. I replaced the circuit breakers and remade the jumper wires and cleaned all the other terminals. When I switched the key on the compressor started right up. Thank for everyone's response on this thread. Steve

it's always a good news story when a systems repair is under $100!

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I am sure this will become a project for me down the road, and it's nice the way ahead in advance.

I couldn't agree more! Especially sine the way ahead is often quite confusing on these old gals! But once you have done it it makes perfect sense (well not really but you understand why you have to do it that way). The phrase cab side window Schlegel replacement comes to mind!
