We had with us, the old alternator from Napa that we changed on our April trip, as well as a “just in case” purchase.
We ended up swapping out the Napa one. To buy a bigger one, it had to be ordered-we didn’t have the time to wait.
He installed the Napa exchange today and believes that’s the problem, as the older one only registered at 12v and the newer one is registering at 14v.
Before we leave tomorrow I want to get the batteries checked.
What size batteries do most have anyway?

I ask about the batteries because I’m learning about how this coach runs on power, as Brad knows. I’m clueless and now learning the hard way

As far as battery size I generally just look for one that will fit and has the highest cold cranking amps available. Personally for the cranking battery I've been buying the Optima red top batteries and so far have been pleased with them. Some people like the Optimas and others don't. Just a personal preference.

I stayed up late looking thru the P-30 manual, and tracing as much as I could of our wiring. My guess? Of course, I’m just learning, but my guess it’s the Isolator. I couldn’t even find anything on the model we have installed. 1 on eBay is it.

That wiring looks kinda funky. I don't think it's original.

Sent you a text.

We couldn’t figure out where that black wire goes to, which, as per chassis manual, it should be alternator. Click image for larger version
