Argosy 24 MH Tow Capacity Question

Does anyone know what the tow capacity for a Argosy 24 Motorhome is? I understand it can tow a small car, but can it tow a Toyota Minivan? I did a search on the forums but couldn't find any info.

Thanks

Bryan

If this is a unit you are interested in, check the unit's owners manual. The tow limit varies by unit, model, and year. Most Classic MH's say 2,000 lbs. but some say 3,500 lbs.

I think the 3,500 number is still below your Toyota mini-van. You also need to consider the strength of the hitch. You would also need a braking system for the Toyota.

It states in the owners manual " The maximum loaded trailer weight which you can pull with your vehicle is 4,000 lbs."
that is the manual for all 1979 models 24' included

My 78 states the same as richardt's 79, 4000 LBS. I would go as light as you can, I just got back form a rally that I did not take the Toad to and the MH is spry without it, lumbering with it. My Saturn weighs 2400 LBS.
