I store black water rinse hose, chocks, leveling blocks for the tongue and the wrench for the Blue Ox. No cool shelf like you have but just placed on top of the tanks as it allows me to easily turn tanks on and off and monitor the tank switch.

I made a tray to hold hitching stuff. The tray allows me to lift all the stuff out for quick and easy access.

No plans for the layout. I made a cardboard template that fit inside the cover and took several dimensions. The metal was picked up at Home Depot. Cut and bent the sheet metal. Used aluminium angle and riveted the angles at the corners and edges for reinforcements. I have never worked with metal like this. Call it beginners luck. Learned a bunch. It didn't take long and was relatively fun.

Been percolating a solution to use that wasted space for those pads and hitching gear. Nice to see some good ideas.

To give greater depth for the shelf wouldn't it be better to drill a hole for the central rod and spin the wing nut down on top of the shelf? (Maybe it is there but I missed it in the photos).

Great work all.
