Oyster Call
Option A: I bring 2-3 dozen for Jane and Me.
Option B: Back up the truck.
Looks like Bluepoint, fresh, fresh, fresh. You will need to have your own knife and open them for yourself. Looks like 50 cents each. Knifes are $8.
Any takers?

Count us in for 3 dozen. I have to go look for my shucking knife but I think I broke it. A bottle opener with the pointy tip works pretty good
We'll bring lemon & Eric's homemade sauce.
Is the smoker rolling?

Don I know. You are totally just in busting my shallow sense of self worth. It came down to a choice, leave the kids and enjoy our selves but cut it a day short or bring the kids and be forced to be responsible for the weekend.
It was an easy choice... sorry we need to leave Sunday midday.

Don, I am going to have to stand up and take my wacks. My boss told me Monday is not going to be possible. You can pound on my man bags all you want but Beth says it ain't gonna happen due to child care and school constraints. Again, sorry.

okay Paul, there are 100 oysters in a bushel.
How about you buy a bushel from a real seafood place and not FreshBills so the price will be far below .50 per.
We will all split the cost and everyone will smile with the pleasure of eating them and every trailer will be rockin later that night.

OK I lost count of how many you all ordering. Just got back from work and been awake for 21 hours. Jill just said I need the oysters so put me in for 3 dozen or if we are pitching in for a larger amount that is cool too. I will just have to grin and bear the suffering .
Frank that sucks your pulling out early. But it all happens to us at some point...paying the electric bill is a good thing.

Closing in on two hundred. .50$ is a great price direct from the grower.
