Sorry Frank I don't have the 20x20 tent along for the ride....I thought the Coopers offered up a big tent.

Its not to late for you to whip one up frank....I. would be more than happy to chip into the cost as it will have saved many toe injuries not climbing around the poles for a couple weeks

SOME VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION HAS COME OUR WAY. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS, AS IT WILL EFFECT YOU GETTING TO THE EVENT!!!!
The single lane bridge leading to Coopers Lake is out. There is a detour that you will need to take. Hopefully you all find these directions and it will save you a turn around. Here is a link to the detour:
We will have many signs leading you to the event, but it is important you not get lost.
For those planning to come on the 3rd to help with set up; be forewarned the Coopers will still be transitioning from a previous event to ours. We will be helping them in any way possible. The real start date is July 4th(Happy Birthday USA and Wally Byam)If you do come on the third, just expect to lend a hand in whatever might be needed. The previous years of success were due to volunteers lending a hand, we plan to keep the tend going....

We are in BASH III mode count down 24\7 here in PA. Frank is working the food list. He also has made signs and ordered rocket kits. He has handle the band booking and planning the parking layout.
My kids have made a Bash III logo's for mugs and t-shirts. My wife Lisa is busy proofing and printing Bash info for all attendees. We have also order new craft kits for the kids. I have handle chair and table rentals. Plus all the dye-tie stuff. We have talked to The Cooper's many times to make sure we are all on the same page. My Airstream is already hook to the van and packed.
I know I must be forgetting something
See Ya all next week. We can't wait!

I normally do not put stock in long term forecasts, but the week of July 4th is looking very nice... 80's during the day, 60's at night. Sounds like perfect summer weather to me...

We're heading out after work hours from DC on Tuesday--would anyone have a suggestion of a Walmart or other place to park en route?
We're looking forward to heading out!

Are you coming the Turnpike there is a campground one mile off the New Stanton exit(Fox Den Campground).
If you are taking Int. 68 to Int. 79. There is a large Walmart in Morgantown WV. I am 60 north of there. I have room for you. If you make it to Pittsburgh. 132 Topaz Ct Bethel Park PA 15102

That's a change from last year, right? I thought last year that we had to stop at the office and sign their waiver, get their list of events, blah, blah, blah like all campgrounds. We get to skip that this year?

As Frank said No need to check in at the office. Last year you had to pay for your camping fee at the office. This year your reg. fee covered that. Follow the signs. We are bringing everyone straight down to the other side of the lake. We will have a parking crew helping you choose a site that best fits your needs.
Note the detour that is posted to get into Cooper's Lake

Ace,
Where do I please fill my water tank with fresh water when I pull in? A signed hose at the entrance?
Also, I'm arriving Thursday around lunch time. I had hoped I could perhaps be placed near Frank's site as I've met him and we have kids about the same age, will there be open spots or are you going to fill in the area as folks pull in Wednesday?
Thanks much,
Jim
