Well guys, I've already sent in my check for the 2006 Scusset Beach Rendezvous! Last year was so much fun. I can't wait to find out what wacky theme we'll have this year for our pot luck (and happy hour, of course!).
I plan to get out of work early that day so that we can ensure we get a slot in the "riff raff" section .
Remember, bring your generator to run your flamingos as there isn't any power at the Safari field. Also come empty & fill, that means you Elaine L.
Though seeing all the bottles of water you had to lug over to your Airstream to fill your water tank was pretty funny....
This rally has been added to the forums rally calendar, be sure to post your "name" there if you plan to attend.

Word is this rally is now full with 30 rigs. Anyone else wanting to attend will need to contact the rally hosts who will put their name on a waiting list.
We will be, might need to drive in though, no trailer. The eBay RI trailer went for $8100 that was clearly not worth that much. Too expensive to drive cross country with it, too dangie with an old axle that needs replacing. So we will drive in, tent camp or maybe someone would rent us one of their trailers for some rallies this summer??????
The rally hosts announced that they are officially full at 30 rigs in the safari field. You can contact them to be on a waiting list up until the end of May registration deadline. See the newsletters from White Mountains, New England and Cape Cod Units for more information.
I haven't checked but, there may be camping available at the regular camping sites in the park. This would be separate from the event and facilities provided by the rally hosts, but would get you close enough to visit with us. .... Just a thought.
By the way, we are dusting off the flamingo's and palm tree. We'll be in generator section, also known as "Riff Raff Row". Since campfires are not allowed the lighting of the flamingo's around a palm tree works nicely. I think we are adding some items typical of Gidget.
We can't make it because of a wedding. Carla was soooo looking forward to this because she loves the cape. O well, we will see you guy's as often as we can and maybe we can make Scusset next year.
We loved it last year, but we can't make it this year. Education and career getting in the way of fun again (I'll be in a workshop all weekend).
We have the new Bambi home now though and we're hoping to get out to the Cape sometime soon. Anyone up for a renegade rally on the cape before or after Scusset Beach??
bobandcarla....shame on you!!! Not going to be the same.
Hey, we REALLY contemplated not going to the wedding but the brides mother lives across the street and we wouldn't have gotten away with it.
But we really wanted to try! She would have seen the trailer gone and figgured it out.
