Thanks Again to our rally hosts for GREAT time. The smaller number of people made for a more cozy rally. It was great to see all of our old friends again and to meet some new ones which I have looked forward to for a long time. To all of the cooks-Great Groceries!!! To Everyone-Merry Christmas and wishes for a prosperous new year! Safe travels, everyone, I hope you made it home without incident. Roseann and I will see you next year, if not before.

A BIG thanks to our organizers and founders of this event. It's always a great time at Blanco! I always feel like there isn't enough time to hang out and meet a some of the new people, and this year was no exception. Robin (Melody Ranch), you took off this morning before I could get your change back to you.

I must say the the one thing that I wanted to do was catch a trout, but the warm weather, while a blessing for a campout, was a curse for catching fish. Oh well, they stock the river every so often. It will be a good excuse to sneak away to Blanco SP for a day of fishing.

If anyone is missing an Igloo brand folding table that was left at Dennis and Mary's site, I have it with me.

What a great time!! A couple pics of the first prize Flamingo in the flamingo decorating contest, and the proud winner, Bruce (sorry about the campfire smoke)
I think he cheated...

Oh...I should mention the theme. "Grandma got run over by an Airstream." So if I heard the rules right, Bruce keeps it till next year, his name will be engraved on it, and it will be passed on to the next grand prize winner. The Stanley Cup has nothing on us!!

Thank you to the hosts for a truly wonderful weekend, for the great meal that you provided Friday night and for all the hard work and planning that you put into delivering this event ... allowing the rest of us the opportunity to leave the "daily grind" behind for a festive weekend. It was a great time! Photo of the river posted showing a beautiful Saturday evening.

Also thanks to Chuck and Skye for the keg of beer and to Jim for the trophy. We have posted our 2nd place trophy for the Flamingo decorating contest.

I made it home safely about 5:30 Cloudy and dry all the way, I Want to say thanks again to the great hosts for another fun time. It is so good to see and visit with this group of geat airstreamers. Good idea; however, Texas State Park Sytem will not allow you to make reservations any further than 11 months out. So you will want to mark your calendar with a reminder in January to make your reservation for next year.

the new F350 is super awesome and my wonderful bearded hubby got us home safe and sound. Nice rally. Not just saying that cause I won the bad arse igloo cooler donated by the markhams! Really nice to make friends and have an Airstream family. 10 years. Wow. Thanks so much Cyndi for the awesome trophies. Jim and Ken too.... Peter for giving the original thought to go there and inviting us. Food was awesome . Thanks guys. Dirty Santa has been dirtier (note to selves) ..... Where is my flamingo Mac and cheese? It sounds like everyone is making it home OK....except the weak ones who had to stay another night to recover. (you know who you are...)

I'll give you one guess on who might be missing something "Igloo" related ,
Michael remembered the table as soon as we got to the house😀
