Cool! More music - better!
I've marked our calendar for this event - always a great event!

I believe the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds starts accepting reservations for calendar year 2010 on Monday, January 4. Check with the website for more details. You'll have to telephone in to make the reservation.

Hey all! I *think* AlanSD is coordinating the music?
I'll be bringing my acoustic and my electric bass with amplification to help out on Sat.
I also have a small PA. Pls let me know if needed - I'd rather leave it at home but will bring if required!
This is our first AS rally thingy!
Where are all the folks with kids going to stay? Any particular loop? Is everyone old?

We've never put music and coordination in the same sentence. Bring your gear, though - awesome!

"Seasoned", or "experienced". We may or may not have our son (16), will definitely not have our daughter. But there will be a bunch of kids if history holds true! Anywhere in Area 2 is good - the area is relatively small and pretty kid friendly.

old?
Youth is just a matter of the heart and spirit. Larry and I retired early and we are 60 and 61. Our kid is grown and so we are now wandering spirits! We like kids and get along well with all ages! Looking forward to this rally! Praying for warmer weather!

I will be calling there tomorrow to hold sites in section 2 lakeside area. Then when you can please mention you are with the Georgia airstream group....that will check off the 30 or so sites they will let me hold.
I can't promise great weather, but I can guarantee it will be warmer then at the CanOpener next weekend!!

Hi! We are looking forward to meeting you all. We are in E3. Don't know how far that really is from the C section, but we will see you there!

We reserved B13, but our chances of making this rally are 50/50.
Here is a map of the Area 2 side of the campground. All area right of US 76 and not shaded green is water. Everything in Area 2 is less than a 10 minute walk from any campsite.

Maybe we can get JP (A-Merry-Can) to do the map updating like last year.
We need to start working on Dacia (Sugarfoot) to see if we can get a bread pudding commitment outta her.

Well my initial thoughts are to use coercion, blackmail or even bribery, but I'm not adverse to a bit grovelling if necessary.

Yeah. Grovelling for sure. Might even have to go for the "nuclear" option.

The Park has 30 sites on hold if they fill up fast I will ask for some more. Usually we are 25-30 camper units.
I did not ask for anything more than for the sites to be in Area 2, as some like to be on the water, or near the pavillion, or up on the hill, etc. If you want waterfront you should get on the phone soon.
I did not hold sites for October as i have no firm date yet but looking at Oct 22 -23. It's hard for me as my school has events that are mandatory attendance and the dates are not set yet.
