Sorry we could not be there

Looks like you guys really had a great time. We hoping we could make it, but my brother turned 60 Sunday and we had a party for him. We took the Airstream up to Lake Sinclair where my brother had fixed up water and power at his house for me to park. Weather was really nice and our father who turns 90 this year was able to come up along with mom.
Annette & I hope to get up for next years Springstream but hope we will see some of you at this years Beachstream. Too much going on in October for us to make the Fall rally.
Birthday boy on left, me in middle, baby brother on right (we think they found him somewhere).

If anyone is still there, we left a long bicycle lock (cable) in our site (C10), kind of near a tree between the site and the lake. If someone could grab it, we'll catch up next rally. Thanks!

If no one is still there, maybe a call to the office and maybe someone could go look for you. I'm back in FL or I'd look...

Sounds Like Fun! Thanks for the Pics!

Sounds like we missed a fun rally. Thanks to everyone for posting your pictures and details of the rally. Maybe we'll see you at Falluminum.

Thanks to Alan and Shannon for organizing this. Great fun, good friends, music, food, and easy schedule.

Some of the best weather I recall having also. Good guess for which weekend to have it!

Hey Brad,
We are still here and looked all over c-10 for your lock, all we found was a rope and a rock, I guess that could be used? Also asked at the office. Sorry Bandits

We just got home late this afternoon - spend a couple of extra days after the rally exploring the area. The Springstream was a great rally! Everything was perfect - people (old friends/new friends), food, band, campfires, weather, you name it, all were perfect. Can't wait until the next Springstream. Thanks Alan and Shannon and others who made it happen.

Thanks also to Levon for the great demo. I learned quite a bit about the techniques, and I think now I am better able to get my Excella back up to full blast shine.

After our tour of home, I am seriously thinking about finding a 60's Overlander ( thanks Greg!). Please someone talk me out of it!! Shannon will make me move into it if I buy another trailer.

I don't think there is a 12-step program for how not to buy an Airstream.

Many Thanks!

Susan and I also wanted to say to Thanks to Alan & Shannon for putting on a great weekend. Great food, music and friends. We especially wanted to give a shout out to Paul & Dee for loaning us their extra fresh water hose when ours turned up about 25 feet too short. Saved us a long trip to Walmart. New was is already bought and in the camper.

See y'all in the fall!

Jim & Susan

Lynn and I would also like to thank Alan and Shannon for making this great rally happen. We made some wonderful friends and had a great time. The weather was great, food was good, people were fantastic, aluminum all over the place; these rallies just get better and better! Looking forward to the next one!

Dee and I want to thank Alan and Shannon too. You know if you band members were getting paid, you would get to take a break once in a while!

We liked it so much, we're going back to Hiawassee on June 10, 11 and 12. We're going to tour some wineries on Friday and go to the Scottish Festival in Blairsville on Saturday. We got site B6 again. We went to the Scottish Festival last year, and it's a lot of fun. They hold it in a park that's just off the rte 76, but runs along a creek with lots of shade.

Attention Jim and Susan - lots of bagpipe music!

For those of you who may not have seen, we are holding the Hacker's Rally in May at Victoria Bryant State Park, somewhere in Georgia(http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...0-a-61272.html). If you play golf, have heard of golf, or hate golf - this venue is for you.

Paul & Dee - and anyone else going back to the Hiawassee area. There is a FABULOUS restaurant in Franklin, NC called Caffe Rel that is simply superb - we are talking fabuloso. Don't be put off - it is located in a gas station, but the food is exquisite.

I have started a new web site. Please take some time a visit it. I have posted photos of our rally last year, the Chuckwagon cook off in Pigeon Forge and the DOG we attended at Panther Creek last week end.
Dutchstream - Home

I think this will be the last of my exploring around for a site for "Dutchstream". This web looks promising. Check it our and get acquainted with it. I'll be using this site for my Dutchstream rallies. I'll also use the Air Stream forum to list stuff.

I'm pretty exited about this site.

Alan I hope you don't mind me using this forum site. I will be listing both of your rallies on my web site.

Your site looks good Jim. Any place we can promote our good clean fun is fine with me. Hope to keep the fire burning so to speak for a long time to come.

Hey, HEY, HEY, I heard that. All the way up in Virginia I heard that.

Looks like I missed a great Springstream. Maybe next year.

Kposey,
We didn't get to go to South Pittsburg. Regina is getting worse. Today we go for a cat scan. I hope they find something.
I could not find your PM on my PM site.
