We came in yesterday afternoon. Has rained steadily since 10:30 or so EDT today. Supposed to rain until later afternoon, then sunshine and cool for the rest of the weekend. Looks like there are 5 here so far.

The sun is out!
We're here in B6. Looks like most of the rain has passed us now, and
the sun came out a while ago.
Sure was raining hard when we got here though! Watching Fred Couples
have a great round at the Masters.

The weather should be beautiful for the rest of the weekend!
We have Master's visitors coming to stay at our house today.
They got late tickets and couldn't find a room. One guy's wife is the director of the NC chapter of our speech/debate league and she sent out a request to our small band in Augusta. She needed brownie points bad. January through June is our season and this guy starts to feel pretty neglected. Now she is his hero!
I am so glad I could help her. She does great work for our league and we could not exist without parents like her.
See you this evening.
Also, once again we are bringing bicycles (with pedals) and will be getting in a mountain ride. Dave will take a loop that will include an ascent of Brass Town Bald, 50-60 miles. I will be taking a slower and flatter 22 mile loop, 2-3 times around the Lake Chatuge. We plan to leave at 1:30. Any other cyclists attending want to join us?

I got the rain just before dusk in North Carolina, just after looking at my "new" silver baby (wooooo-hooooo!). So I don't have photos to show you.... That storm brought absolute torrential rain, wind, thunder and lightning and a tornado watch (scared me). So I went with the PO's to dinner in the opposite direction of the storm, and we got to see this:

I'll see you all later today! Presently in Asheville, and since I'm here I HAVE to visit my favorite arts & crafts gallery before I head to GA...

Pictures? We were too busy eating, drinking, and socializing. Actually Alan was the photographer of record. There was plenty of good eats and a variety of drink to be had. Will have some photos to post soon.

Its 50 degrees this morninig and beautiful. Not sure what the high was yesterday but it could not have been prettier. Had a nice group around the fire at C9 last night.
This was our first Springstream and we had a great time. Lots of aluminumm (and fiberglass) to look at. On to Charleston for work related stuff, then back home Wednesday or Thursday.
Chief, good seeing you two and thanks again for the spot. Beautiful, but some of the neighbors..........well, you know!

We home.
We both had a great time rallying as usual. Perfect weather and perfect people. So good, in fact, I didn't realize that I missed *that* bread pudding or *that* cook until the drive back.
The dogs and cat really enjoyed it, too. They were sacked out on the ride home.
This was a great rally to end our East Coast group camping adventures for a couple of years. Not sure when we'll see everyone again, but we'll see you down the road.

I completely agree. Some of your neighbors were unusual.
