maybe since it fills so quickly, we'll reserve a spot and cross our fingers that we can get road ready by December....lots on the list to do still.

We missed last year due to a schedule conflict, the same applies this year but the Blanco-Texas AirForums Christmas event is far more important so Charles and I will be there. Oh, I have a great gift! No, Laura, I'll won't tell!

How many younger families are there? I have two small girls and have just moved to the Boerne/Bergheim area and would love the get the move to a new area started right with an AirForums campout!

There may not be any young children in attendance. The christmas parade is sure worth bringing the kids to see. Santa arrives on a bulldozer and there are fancy llamas. There is a craft fair on the courthouse square. The kid in this great grandma sure likes it.
This is a very warm and friendly group. We are very diverse. Come on out and you will feel very welcome

Westfalia,
Yes kids are welcome. Some years families attend with children then some years no kids but like Kay said, the Parade and crafts fair in town really an social event! One year I went with friends( Bambi_Bandit) to nearby Johnson City to see the great holiday lites (& hot-chocolate) in the town square, it was impressive and great fun. JB

Blanco Meet
I am new to AS and am searching for the right 68 Ambassador to redo.
Since vintage AS are not an everyday occurance is it possible to stop by the event sans trailer for the day? It would be great to see what people are pulling.
Does anyone know of a vintage group in the DFW area I might connect with?

There will be a variety of units at this rally both vintage and newer. It may be difficult to find people on Saturday morning during the parade.
The largest gathering of vintage Airstreams in Texas is the Texas State Vintage Rally in February at Montgomery. There is a listing for this in the rally section of this forum. At this event there is a public open house on Saturday if you only want to look it over. The info is at http://www.airforums.com/forums/cale...-10;&e=600&c=1.

Hi Guy's. Mike and I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Deb and Ken Gordon are picking up their new 20' Flying Cloud this coming Tuesday, they will be attending also and have made their reservations at the park. There were still spots available as of yesterday. I think The Gordons heard about the famous pot luck supper and had to buy an Airstream to sample it!!! Come on John and tell me what your gift is... just a hint maybe!!!

I'm new to the Airstream Rally protocol so I don't know if this is kosher or not. I'm an airstream wanna-a-be and live close to Blanco. Is it okay if I come over just for the day for the rally? What do I need to do?
Thanks, I wish I had my airstream!!!!!!!!!!!!

To All,
Connie and I are sorry to say that we will not be able to make this year's rally due to a previous Holiday family event. However, we will raise our glasses in a toast to you all, and we will plan to be back next year.
We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello, I'm a new Airstreamer and interested in attending but would like more information. Can anyone help this Airstream newbie!! I just purchased a "77 Safari that needs some TLC. It is road worthy but I'm looking for "how to" advice. I plan to redo the interior and would like some ideas.
