Scott, use;
10690 Dalton Road,
Jackson, Ca

This will get you to the south entrance of Jackson Rancheria off CA-88. The RV park is north about a mile on Dalton Road.

The RV Park address is tied to the Casino location off New York Road. You don't want to come in that direction

Thanks for the address. When we arrive for check in, do we give them the site number on your map or just tell them we are with the AS rally? See you sometime Friday morning or early afternoon.

Jackson Rancheria Fall Rally October 12-14, 2012 Info :)

Check in/Checkout stuff & directions

At the time of this posting, our group with each of our own individual site reservations have been confirmed by Jackson Rancheria.

For GPS directions use: 10690 Dalton Road, Jackson, Ca

For the benefit of our newbie's or those that forgot
Jackson Rancheria has a check in policy regarding your holding tanks. Don’t be alarmed with their request to empty them for you upon arrival.

If there is an issue during check in, call me or have Jackson Rancheria do the same.
They know what site I’m in

Check in:
Each of us are registered under our own names, forum name and site number. Just provide them one these upon check in at the office.

Check out:

None, just leave by 11:00AM on your day of check out!

Any issues, concerns, changing of minds, chickening out, change in rally preference or changing of a flat tire…… Call me!

I believe everyone has my cell number right?

We should be arriving around noon time Tuesday.
See all of you there!

Save travels for all of us.
Thanks,

Jeff

Weather forcast link

95642 Weather Forecast and Conditions - weather.com Looks like our usual 'Rancheria' weather. Hope it isn't windy too.

For you new commers.....get the Rancheria 'Dreamcatcher' card BEFORE you gas up at the Jackson Rancheria gas station. It'll give you a discount that will help with the gas prices.

Although neither of my trailers is usable, i was wondering what the rules are about stopping by on my way home just to check things out and get some photos. Is the campground accessible to folks that are not staying ?
I didn't see any replies to your question so here's one. We aften have friends and non ralliers visit. I would suggest that you stop at the office just to tell them that you are just visiting the Airstream group. They may ask you to park in the parking space across from the office but we will be at the far end of the RV Park and the road is roomy enough to park near one of us. If you park in the office parking grab one of the free shuttle buses that come by every 15 - 20 minutes and ride on down to us. We will love to see and meet you.

SO.....you are now the 'Official Greeter' by default. No matter Lynn and I have a 'Greeting' package for all as we did for Casini.

Took the flat tire to Costco as I had noticed the air was leaking from the valve stem. Well, when they started putting air in the tire they noticed a "bulge" in the side wall
Yup, same ole, same ole.... Ended up buying a new tire for $107.53 (they have 15 in stock), Bottom line, I'M glad the busted sidewall was found before the trip and NOT during the trip.

Diesel in Vegas is $4.26 (today )
I'm guessing you and I have the same guardian angel. Last weekend Lynn and I were returning in our convertible from her mini high school reunion when I heard a re-occuring 'click clock' noise. It had made that sound for a few weeks. I suspected that it was a loose bearing but previous inspections revealed nothing. This time I knew that it was a the cv on the drive shaft. I really have a difficult time now crawling under the Buick...no matter how high that I can raise it it's never is high enough (this car 'insists' on staying LOW). Anyway just 4 bolts connects the heavy drive shaft to the differencial. Once out I still saw nothing so I thought I'd better take it to the nearby driveline specialist. It was the cv joint. PLUS the shaft was bent! It took a while for them with heating and cooling the metal to straighten and re-balancing it. Thankfully the 233 bucks was all the cost it was. Otherwise my Good Sam Road Service would have been bringing our Airstream to JRRV while taking the Buick to a repair facility. The 2 tows would have been no cost but the repair cost...!!!

34th America's Cup - YouTube
Scott;
This was the show stopper today!! But wait after the dnf, it was the first fleet race. Jimmy came back to get 2nd in the second fleet race and then won his match race to capture that title. one more fleet race tomorrow. I got a bunch of shots of the 4 boat on its side, we were close to the mark.pretty interesting.
The Blue Angels put on a spectacular show before the boating.what a good day.Got a snap of Linda Lu and me with the cup.We were instructed NOT to touch the thing. It was difficult to refrain.
Glad to hear about your good luck after your bad luck.Drive safe.
The St. Francis yacht club has about 20 J 24's on trailers in their yard.I noticed they all had a rubber nose guard installed, must have gotten rough since I last crewed on one of those things.lol
so we're ready for a few days on the reservation

Getting ready.

Hi, today it was fairly cool, so I washed 3/4's of my trailer. My trailer was in it's normal parking spot, next to my house. I started by washing the back end first, them I washed the street side, and finally I washed the front. I will have to pull it forward for loading and to wash the curb side.

Hope someone finds this post before the rally. We are coming from Nevada City, CA or North. What address do we use on our GPS?
