Let's get ready to start a new thread!
Ok, it looks like it is settled.
Pirolli Campground, the second weekend in August.
We will need to call them and see how many they can handle that weekend.
I am willing to call, no problem....
We do need to have an area that is sort of communal, if possible.
I will check with them when I call.
I guess we can say that we are looking at something between 25-35 units?

I will be sure to tell Candie that you said "Hi". I am sure she cannot wait till I make a complete fool of myself at this year's rally!
Hey, what about shirts? Are we going to do shirts this year?
Who would like to work on finding shirts?

Glad to hear everyone had a good time. With Andy and Claudia hosting, what else can you expect? Sorry I didn,t get done in time to visit with you Ralph. I came back through about 2:30 pm and you guys were long gone. That job was one of those were I know I did the right thing retiring. You have a nice place there Ralph. The blue noodles is ready for Holland and then the following week to Berrien Springs for a FMCA rally. Hope to see everyone in July at Walnut Hills. Have decided not to attend the International in GA. Grace and I want to camp and just have fun and forget the controversy and politics.

Found out Pirolli is EXPENSIVE...
Pirolli is not going to be reasonable on their pricing for camping....
If you want a regular site with full hook-ups it runs 33/night PLUS 2 bucks a night extra for each kid you have. At $37/night I can stay at a Red Roof Inn for less money a night.
Harold, (aka HDS) will be scoping out KC and Totem Pole this coming weekend and we will see what they look like and what we get for our money.
Right now, as it stands, I cannot afford to go to Pirolli myself.

Lou, Why dont we go back to Grass Lake??? I have talked with others and they think its a good idea.If we got the same circle its like being all alone in our own little campground...Airpyro, Buck and I know a little place to get killer firewood..LOL..Heck, camping is worth more then any Red Roof Ive ever seen...

Grace & I are with you on the Grass Lake thing. It would be nice to go somewhere else, but we don't want to cash in our stock to afford it.
Oh hell, lets have a beer or two and write em' a bad check if we have to.

The LPPI VP of BS and I would like to say thank you to Andy And Claudia...Great Job guys, had a ball!!!!!!
As for Ralphie....What can I say maybe I'l get to witness the AIR guitar someday LOL.
Pirolli....sounds like high-rollie, that is alot of money for what that place is. KC has a great play ground for the kids, but I gotta side with Ralph on this, why don't we go back to Apple Creek? The place had a pretty good pool for the kids and Lou, I thought the circle of tin was great especially when Buck lit up the horns around mid-night and nobody came over to say anything. LOL. And I suppose there is only one tree that AirPyro could possibly light up accidentally.
It doesn't really matter to us as long as we can have as much fun as last year.

I am for Apple Creek too!
The nice thing about Apple Creek is that if we need to squeeze some more units in we can!
We are also away from the campground's general population. This is good for them more than it is for us!
I liked that we were left to our own devices. It was fun that way!
Who else is willing to go back to Apple Creek?

1st: A Big Thanks you to Andy (Itowair) and Claudia for the Cinco De Mayo Metro Detroit Shakedown Rally. Lorrie and I had a blast and had a good opportunity to "shake down" the "new" trailer ('94 Excella). Watching the movie "RV" on the sheet outside Andy & Caludia's trailer Friday night was indeed great! It was great seeing everyone that could make it, too.
2nd: Still not sure we will be able to make the LPPI rally in early August, but we liked Apple Creek last year, so going back would be fine with us.

Word on the street is..AirPyro went to Vt. and camped in a S.O.B. I think we need to have a chat with that girl. Makes me wonder if the whole state of Vt. is a charred ruin.

Our vote
We would also endorse a return to Apple Creek.
Circle the wagons like last time , mabey a little bit tighter so we can get more in.
I think you will see more of the close in campground raising their prices, when gas was cheap people would drive right past the close campgrounds now with gase prices going up people want to stay closer to home , so the campgrounds have a captive audience.
PS: We would like to thank all of you who attended our Shakedown, the host and hostess are only a small part of the event , it is you the people who made it the good time it was.
