this spot sounded so good to maybe escape the heat we booked arrival on 6/29. could not make the rally but you all sound like you are working on having a great time. enjoy and we might see you as you depart. camp on.

Hi everyone,
I just spoke with Veronica at Paradise Shores. There are about 4-5 sites still available. All full hook ups.
Be aware that there is a big fishing event for the same weekend so do not wait to make you're reservation if you haven't already.

Hello folks!
I can't believe this rally is almost here! We've been planning this since last August!
I called Paradise Shores today and changed my reservation. We will be arriving on Tuesday the 23rd.
Allen and Veronica are the owners of the park and they are super excited to have us. They are also owners of an Argosy so naturally I invited them to the potluck and all other activities.
Also, the trailer count is up to 15!

The lady from Paradise shores called me a couple of days ago to take my deposit for the campsite I reserved last year. As Bridgport is a good fishing lake, I asked her about the fishing....she went out of her way to tell me that lake was very low and that if you were using a boat you would have to use waders to get boats in/out. That probably also means the bank fishing will be minimal.

You can always drive up to Twin Lakes if you want to do some bank fishing. It's really nice up there and only about 15 miles or so.

Rich, stop at Ken's Sporting Goods in Bridgeport and check out the freezer out front where they keep the recent caught big fish. You can also find out what they've been using to catch fish. You can also rent a boat on Upper Twin at Mono Village if you're so inclined. Here's a pic from Upper Twin...

Hello all,
I had some stickers made up for our trip to Bridgeport. Some of you may be familiar with the line "Goodbye God, I'm going to Bodie". This line comes from the diary of a young girl when she found out her family was relocating to what once was the wildest town in the West.
I thought it would be neat if we all had one on our back windows as we travel to Bridgeport.
If you would like a sticker (free), please send me a private message or email me at Cmod89@aol.com and I will get one mailed out to you.

Or it could be read as "Good, by God, I'm going to Bodie"!

Susan and I got a spot today. Pretty excited. We'll be there from Tuesday through Monday.

Looks like I'll be able to practice my fly fishing....ha.

Hi everyone! The time is getting near! Our trailer is getting a quick bit of work since it got broken into last week. A new door latch/lock and a new window screen is the extent of the damage. Our power cords and a lot of gear was taken so I'm replacing everything. Fortunately, there was no damage to the interior.

So on to sunnier things. Let's kick off our Saturday night potluck list.

Cut and paste the list. Add your name and dish.

Lynn and I visited Bodie the summer of our marriage in 1969. I was very into photography then and really enjoyed the picture opportunities. I would say 'things' there have not changed except the lighting........a polarizing filter helps
