OK, I have a potentially whacky, but also fun, idea. How about a costume photo shoot for any of our crew who's in Bodie when we are.

I'm a bit of a camera nut and haul my camera everywhere. I'll definitely be looking for some artistic views of Bodie. We also have in our possession a long duster coat, a top hat, a bowler and a flattish leather wild west sort of hat. We also have a bonnet and a long apron and blouse that would fit anyone and cover regular clothes.

So, anyone want to join the fun and look like a relic from the old ghost town?

I also have an antique bentwook pitchfork that I could bring if anyone wants to create their own version of American Gothic.

Thoughts?

Won't take much for me to 'look like a 'relic'. I just celebrated my 77th. I was poking around in Bodie in 1957. I'll see if I can find (B&W) pictures that I took then.

Barbie, I'll do it! Can you use any photoshop or camera effects that make us look transparent like a ghost? If so, we could have a lot of fun with this.

Ooh, that would be fun!

As long as I use the tripod and take an exposure with you and without you, it's a piece of cake to turn you into a ghost. I picture ghosts in sepia tone, of course, because everyone knows the world didn't develop colors until at least the 1960s.

Hi everyone,
I just spoke with Veronica at Paradise Shores. There are about 4-5 sites still available. All full hook ups.
Be aware that there is a big fishing event for the same weekend so do not wait to make you're reservation if you haven't already.

Hello folks!
I can't believe this rally is almost here! We've been planning this since last August!
I called Paradise Shores today and changed my reservation. We will be arriving on Tuesday the 23rd.
Allen and Veronica are the owners of the park and they are super excited to have us. They are also owners of an Argosy so naturally I invited them to the potluck and all other activities.
Also, the trailer count is up to 15!

The lady from Paradise shores called me a couple of days ago to take my deposit for the campsite I reserved last year. As Bridgport is a good fishing lake, I asked her about the fishing....she went out of her way to tell me that lake was very low and that if you were using a boat you would have to use waders to get boats in/out. That probably also means the bank fishing will be minimal.
