Hey Terry, the Circus museum is pretty cool, I remember going there as a kid. I believe the clown college is also there. I'm really looking forward to the rally.

Angry No O.J. Tour

Tropicana called me this morning like they said they would, and as expected, said because of health dept rules, and liability concerns, they would not be able to give us a tour of the facility. If there is enough interest, maybe I could check into a tour of the St. Petersburg Times printing facility, providing they don't have the same issues of liability (welcome to Legal America).

Bump

Okay, no one chimed in with an opinion on going to the Times building, and watching miles of newsprint unfold before their eyes. Looks like we will be going to Clown Central in Sarasota/Bradenton.

(sound of lurker decloaking)
I have reserved site 154 for Friday and Saturday night, and am looking forward to meeting other Forum members who have helped contribute to my Airstream knowledge base. Have been hanging out here for quite a while.

Thumbs down No Hurricanes in late September

catherder,

Late September hurricanes are quite rare, especially on the West coast. So we should have a safe haven for the Forum Rally and pleasant weather.

Looking forward to your attendance ... Good luck with the current hurricane coming your way this weekend.

Red face Way-to-go!

Way-to-go PICK, look forward to seeing you there! Looks like we're neighbors.

Fort Desoto won't boot us ... they sell tie-downs! and there are plenty of trees we could secure the Airstreams to!

Talking Just a Tease ...

Thought I'd bump this thread up for the weekend and tease the one's (like me) that are not out playing with our Airstreams.

It is an awfully nice campground with many waterfront sites.

I'm also getting psyched Goliath is almost ready for his big weekend, and I certainly am ready for a weekend away.

Come one, come all.
We will have fun and relaxation.

You know I'd be there if I could .... *sigh* ... I love Ft DeSoto. Any Forum members within a three hour drive who are skipping this rally will really be missing out!

My son lives in Tarpon Springs and says gas is 2.339, and it's from 2.339 to 2.499 here in Cape Coral.
So come on down before it goes up more.

If everyone filled their Motor Homes at once, would the price of gas go up?

Talking What a deal !

ALANSD,

I just went to http://gasbuddy.com/ and gas can be had for $2.23 in Tampa area. Who thought that would be a deal!

I know you can make Tampa on one tank -yes? So you need to come this far South just to buy gas!
