And the always fabulous Friends Of Topsail Park will again be providing breakfast, and of course the donation jar will be at the door. A reminder to all you Canopenians, 100% of the money given goes directly to Topsail AND, for each of the last 3 years, we’ve been able to give back to the park over $1,000 Canopenians are a fabulous group!

Chili Feed Signups
OK guys, if it’s Chili Feed sign up time then that means Canopener is almost here – it’s on like Donkey Kong Jack!! The Chili Feed is going to be Friday, January 4th, at high noon. It will be just before the Corn Hole Tournament and Margaritaville. Friday Fun Day is going to be a big day!

Below are the items we need folks to sign up for. Just reply to this post via the copy/paste method. Please have what you are bringing to the clubhouse by 11:00a.m. on Friday. We will have note cards for you to label your Chili’s and note possible allergens and spiciness/heat on a 1 - 5 pepper scale.

Also, we are looking for chili wranglers to help us with setup and limited cleanup before and after the chili feed.

And speaking of the donation jar! For you first timers, the donation jar is also present at Margaritaville and Bloody Saturday. There is a bit of competition between Joe/Annette and me/Pat as to who can collect the most. I think Margaritaville has won every time and I would like to see that continue, so please help us out. As stated, all of the money goes to the Friends of the Park, the non-profit group of volunteers that helps keep the park in tip top shape. The gauntlet has been thrown!
