The latest and final final theme for this year's rally is "The Airstream Lounge."
Think lounge lizards, karaoke crooners, sassy ladies & gents, fun food and beverages etc.
Of course everything is optional (except clothing thank you ).
P.S.
And don't forget to "Pimp Your Lounge Chair."
|
Hi All: Chris and I will be attending the rally, but we are in the sticks.
We are space #41. But we are just happy to have that space.
The "Pimp your lounge Chair" theme shounds great!!
We will be contenders!!!!
You may remember our first Rally where we took the first prise for the "tacky tourist" in San Clemente. The dancing pinapple sits on our fireplace under our family portrate with great pride.
Well see you all there.

fall fiesta in Kernville
It certainly looks like we will not be the newest newbies in kernville - chair pimping planning is underway & we are really looking forward to seeing everyone & not being the newest newbie - being the newest newbie in the chair pimping planning contest is a big responsibility...we're relieved to have been replaced. All of the directions helped alot - getting the fising license - thinking of bringing our 4 year old grandson - loves the trailer, but we know that the evenings entertainment is too good to have to miss ---- so - it sounds like a blast -& ... Also by the way, cat, i found a hat that said "catnap" - i figured you have too much energy - so i passed it up, although it sounded fun ( i always love catnaps) maybe in the pimped up lounge chair.....al & teke scott....1996 25' safari , palm springs, ca.

We just left JC (I love the place; they love my Visa) - and of course, it is always on my way West (broadly construed). We are in a nice Good Sam park in Knoxville, IL, overnight.
I think we are heading for Amana country in Ioway tomorrow, then up to Ft Mandan in ND perhaps. We are big L&C fans (they are Virginians, by the way, even though Bill was recruited upstream from Louisville (which was also VA at one time...) But enough of that sort of cheap chauvinism. I'll leave that to Scrap Irony. ?How is the campaign going, by the way?
It's been hot every day, but cool in the evenings, and blankie-weather in the morning. Ice in the freezer. Scotch in the cab. Living off Page's homemade goodies (smoked turkey-bean soup tonight.) Maybe a nightcap.

OK - we're in. I got a space in the cheap seats by the front gate (not really sure why I need a pull through for a 20 foot trailer....) and we are looking forward to a great time!

Hey Uwe so glad you let us know about the trip.
Will you be bringing your BIG Brats again?
Are you going to be Hans Solo, or will Dede be joining us, you mentioned she may not be able to attend.
Looking forward to the trip, and don't worry about Chris and I and the long wonder back to the trailer, we are seasoned "drunk walkers".

I'm IN!
I'm in.... space 207 ...on the pathway from the office main gate to the wonderful Riverfront. There's a few more spaces I hear in my section...just sayin~
I'll be bringing my new 'vintage' 63 Globetrotter that Uwe sold me... and she'll need baptism by Champagne for her new name "Meadowlark Lemon" after the famous Harlem Globetrotter!
Also... as my guest I'll be bringing the Good Doctor Sandra Beddor since her "Buddha Girl" is in Rehab at the moment....

Hi Debra:
We met in San Clemente last year. Uwe told us he sold you his new baby.
We have a 1959 Globetrotter and love it. THe old guys are still the best in our eyes. Love the name you gave it. We call ours the "Welshly"
Can't wait to see "Meadowlark" next month.
See you soon
Kim and Chris

Looks like I will be coming sans squeeze, sans cats. If I find the time, I might run to the butcher and fetch some of the brats.

Yeah, me too. But her company has their fiscal year end in October, which means all hands on deck for them. I will just have to take her somewhere special when she finally does get time off.

Well a Conga line going there shoulds great!! coming back Chris and I will have a line tied to each others waist so if one of us falls in the bushes they wont be left behind. We usually try and leave a bread crumb trail, but out in this type of wilderness I am sure the little vermon will have eaten any traces for us to follow.
