We just heard that Antsy McClain will be playing at the Red Light Café on Friday October 17, 2014. I don't know the ticket price yet or the time of the show. I also don't know if it will be a solo show or if he'll have some of the Troubadours playing with him.

I'll post additional information as it becomes available. Anyone interested in camping or attending the show please post information on this thread.

On a related note... nilesrob & karenjude along with my wife and I saw Antsy open the show for Tommy Emmanuel last night at Variety Playhouse. It was a great show!

Some of you reading this thread may be attending Falluminum in Hiawassee on October 24. If you're interested in making a week-long trip or back to back weekend trips let me know. Hard Labor Creek State Park is just east of Atlanta and may be a convenient camping spot if you're attending the Antsy show at Red Light Café.

I'd love to see that show. I've never seen Antsy play live.

It's the last scheduled week of Sue's chemo treatments though, and she thinks that she won't be up to going. Sue did suggest that I consider going without her and Cheryl, and I will keep that as an option if Sue doesn't need me at home. We're still planning (hoping) to get to Alumilina Fall 2014 as well as Falluminum.

Thank, Lucious for keeping up with Antsy and sharing with us, and for your efforts to schedule his visit to a Rally. That would be awesome!

Here's a link to the Red Light Café web site. Based on the information shown it looks like this will be a solo performance (i.e. no band) although the listing indicates a "special guest." Maybe somebody will be opening the show for Antsy.

We've never seen Antsy but we've heard a lot about him so when we found out he was going to be local to us we decided to gather some friends and head to the show oh, and while we were at it, we'd go camping! So, the SE Camping Unit, members and friends, are gathering for Antsy's show at the Stone Mountain campground. I've had them set aside 15 campsites for us (278-288 and 296, 298, 299, 301 and 303) and if we get 15 reservations they'll waive the $10 entrance fee. We currently have 6 sites booked. If you want to join us there you can call 770 498-5170 and request a site held for the SE Camping Unit.

We're looking in to hiring transportation to Antsy's show. At this time the estimated cost is $30 per person for the round trip, let me know if you're interested. Also if you're planning on camping let me know what site you've booked and hopefully we can get the campground gate fee waived for us.

This is going to be such a blast and I'm so glad to not have to worry about transportation to and from Antsy's show. We now have 12 reservations for his show and camping. With only 3 more reservations I can get the gate fee waived. Email me if you want more info

I haven't heard about anyone else going to this rally so if you've made your reservation to attend please send me an email. I'm finalizing the rally schedule this week and I'll also need to know if I need to adjust the bus head count. Thanks

We missed you. The show was crowded (maybe a sellout). I didn't count the number of people but it was probably in the 100+ range. Very enjoyable and yes, we did get to speak to Antsy for a few minutes. I think he spoke to nearly everyone. He certainly comes across as a genuinely nice guy.

The Southeast Camping Unit was there in great numbers. Several people (13 trailers/rigs) stayed at Stone Mountain Park. I know several of them took pictures and videos of the show. I hope they'll post here.
