Practice for Rita...Dinner at Armadillos restaurant in Blairsville, Georgia (close to where I work). Cheryl grimaced when I asked her if she wanted to try it!
Leaving for the Cove tonight after work.

Andy, there is a campground right off the interstate in Salisbury, NC called "Cross Winds." We have not stayed there, but we rode through it and it looked pretty nice for a stop over. It is north of Charlotte and would leave you with more driving tomorrow though. There are some right at the speedway (near Tom Johnson's camping center), but they are just parking lots with hook ups and mainly used just during races. If you decide on Cross Winds then you will need to call them and let them know you are coming. I think they leave the office around 5, but I do not think it was gated so they will probably let you come in at anytime. If you decide to come down I77 instead, there are some near Lake Norman, but they are further off the interstate and in heavier traffic.

We've got our buns in the car and we're ready to go.
Ok, not quite ready to go. See you all tomorrow!

Well hello everyone, it has indeed been a splendid day here at the cove. About 55 rigs here already, 75 or so due in tomorrow and Friday.
Thanks everyone for the hot dog buns. We certainly need them.
The weather is predicated to be perfect, so get here as soon as you can, but safe and sound.
Looking forward to an awesome weekend.

Photo update....
If folks who want a photo of themselves and their trailer/moho, can find me and let me know, I am in a silver trailer....(could not resist) with red 4165 on it, white Dodge/Cummins 4x4 crew cab/long bed in front. About 75 yards from the office in I think the center row or to the west...???
Anyway, we can have some fun with the photos, but I need you to find me and let me know where you are....
Also, I will be snapping some other stuff as we progress in what I anticipate will be a fantastic Alumalina 2015...thanks to John and Susan, and the great crew at the Cove.
Oh, yes, espresso....possibly available for those who love it....

It is with great sadness that we (Montanablue) have to cancel our trip to the rally. My father is having 2 stints put in his heart here in Greenville at St. Francis. Since we live in Easley, maybe we can come out for a quick visit. I really wanted to see all 135 Airstream shinning across the campground.

Hopefully, we'll be there tomorrow...
My sweet Ruthie has been having some difficult health issues. We were loaded up, hooked up and everything today and planned to be there for dinner as we had buns and chili as well. Unfortunately, today was one of her worst days yet and we just couldn't leave. I just pulled the dirty trailer back in earlier today and plugged it back up. We were really looking forward to this so hoping we'll make it tomorrow. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks, G
