This is going to be a big spring rally from the looks of things. Bet it breaks the records!

Deb,I wish we were doing it (going west, NW) again this year! You're going to love it.
We worried about so much stuff- but it all turned out to be for nothing! Pure fun. Can't wait to tell you more about our experience. I'm working on a scrapbook...

Found a neat prize for the rally already. What do you need? Let us know if there's anything we can do to help. It's a big job!

We're heading to NYC on March 15, then home, then we'll join y'all in Eureka. It's going to be fun.

Hi Pau! We'd love to have you join us! There are links to Wanderlust RV and to the RSVP page on page 1, post 1 & 2 and also throughout this thread. They were just able to give me firm prices which I listed in post #90. Just call Wanderlust for your own reservation, they will take a credit card but not charge you until check-in. So glad you are thinking of joining us...we are a fun group, made up of many age groups, couples, singles, some with kids, dogs...but all compatible in some way or other...mostly Airstreams or "cousins" of. Hope to see you there!

Reservations made.

Regina and I plan to arrive on Friday, stay Friday and Saturday and head back to Springfield on Sunday.

She is thinking about riding her motorcycle down if the weather is nice. It's not fun riding in the rain. So she'll be watching the weather closely.

We've stayed in this park before, it is a nice park.

Beautiful day this day, the sun is shining!

Here is a re-cap of the 2008 rally --- we still got the same trailer but a newer suburban. I make a mighty fine deviled egg if I do say so myself.

If you've never been, you're in for a treat! It's a wonderful mountainside city with beautiful old Victorian homes and a great business section with neat shops. Take an extra day to roam around town and take advantage of the many things to see. The week-end we are there they are also having a Spring Yards & Yards of Yard Sales...I may have to get into that!

Attention to all Attendees!! I have a little project for all of us to work on before the rally...Make A SIGN For Your Trailer...and there will be a PRIZE for BEST SIGN at our Saturday night pot luck dinner. The purpose of the sign is so we can identify who you are, esp. at the Sat. afternoon Open House. The sign will have your NAME(s), City & State, Year and Type of Airstream or Related Trailer ....and any other info you'd like to provide. It should be either an 8 1/2" X 11" or 11"X 14" and on construction paper or card stock, etc. Use your imaginations...be creative...you can use a photo or decoupage, mixed media... or just plain ole magic markers. This sign will be hung preferably on your door or window...or just inside your door...you may want it to be something you can use at other rallys. When going from trailer to trailer, we sometimes don't know whose trailer we are going into or what kind of trailer it is, so this is a great way to let everyone know and it's a fun way for us to give out a prize! I know we have some artsy types out there and even you who aren't so artsy...don't be intimidated...just do it!

Here is a rundown of the events for the rally:
Friday night:
Rally kicks off around 5 PM with Happy Hour at the Social Hall to Meet & Greet and pick up nametags. Hot dogs & fixins will be provided, feel free to bring a snack or dessert. ALSO, bring your own drink, eating utensils & plates.
Fireside fellowship afterwards...karoke anyone?
Saturday Morning
You are on your own BUT:
To those who would like: join us to ride the trolley into town and have breakfast at Myrtie May's (supposed to have great breakfasts!) then go shopping/sightseeing around town until around noonish. There is a small trolley fee, but will save you from having to ride around town and finding a parking space.
Saturday Afternoon
Open House from 1-3...we will vote on Favorite Trailer and Best Sign! Turn in ballots by 4PM to the Social Hall
Saturday Night
6:00PM... Meet in the Social Hall for a Pot Luck Dinner with door prizes and drawing for the Watch, and OTHER PRIZES!
Fireside fun
Sunday Morning
Check-out time is 11AM we will have coffee and muffins for you from
8-10am. Maybe a group picture?

Details are subject to change, but this is the basic schedule...I'm open to any suggestions!

ONE MORE THING, PRIZE DONATIONS:
We really don't need to have everyone bring items for the prizes...we have almost had TOO MANY in the past...BUT if you have something you would like to donate as a prize that any camper might enjoy...please private message me and let me know so that I will know how many more I need to get. ALSO...if you have an IN with a dealership or business that has camper-like supplies or gifts, etc. that would DONATE or offer a nice discount...please let me know that too. I need about 5-10 prizes. THANKS FOR HELPING US MAKE THIS A FUN TIME!

Thanks so much to Kathy & Gene ("kassie" on the forum)for sending me 5 gifts for door prizes!! Last fall was their first rally and very much enjoyed it but are going to start building a house soon so won't be able to come this time...I know you all will appreciate their generous gifts!! I got Life Is Good to give me a $20 off coupon on an order...so we will have a few gifts from them...What a great company! I have also had a couple of other great donations from our group, so we are doing good! I will contact a couple of Airstream dealers soon to see if they can donate something and maybe someone could go by there and pick it up if I get a donation? Since I live in OK, it makes it a little more challenging, but I'm sure it will all get done! I'm not afraid to ask for help so I may message some of you for specific things. We DO have a great group of Airstreamers!

Rub it in! We are going to have to change our arrival to Saturday due to a conflict but we will stay through Monday. We're going to try and make it to the open house!

I'm feeling for all of you who are still in the snow! I heard Carol & Ray are stuck at a campground in Virginia in the snow...I hope not for too long!

While we've met and talked with many of you, it will be great putting faces with posters on this thread.

We will spend the week prior at Devil's Den State Park, and arrive in Eureka on Wednesday (hopefully in time for lunch at Bubba's ;-) ).
