Hi, we also love the kitchen store and buy from them every year that we Rally at Jackson Rancheria.

Either people aren't reading this thread or are not interested in these hats this year. Last year some of the people said that they didn't know anything about these hats and would have ordered some. It takes time to make these hats, [especially if you want your name on them] so I need to know if there is any interest pretty soon.

I'm hoping that the big block letters in this post will get your attention. If there is interest, I will find out what this year's color will be and prices.

I'd say many aren't reading the thread Bob as most of the posts are my updates

Jeff;

We still plan on arriving with the full moon and leaving on Discover's Day. Having just returned from 2 weeks at Tahoe in the drainpipe, I'm feeling relaxed and rested. Looks like I'll put my paperwork in the mail tomorrow.
Does the kitchen place sell ammo? large knives? propane accessories?

Hi, one out of three isn't too bad.

No (not that I've seen), Yes (Forshener/Victorinox), and Yes.

There has been a few of you asking if it would be OK to bring Airstream related items to sell. Sorta like a airstream rummage sale to sell your unused, remodeling left overs, used parts, etc that others maybe interested in.
I don't have a problem with anyone bringing their own goods to sell, can't see anything more organized than that without approval.
I did purchase a nice set of wheels, brake parts, and scored a nice used electric jack in the past from fellow streamer's
So bring your stuff!

So- I was at the market and picked up a sleeve of the small sterno cans. like the ones I use to put under my butter pots to dunk my dungie crabs into . Imparts a regal flavor to them little critters,
anyway - was I surprised to find out how nicely they fit into my spud gun, just a little loose. And that looseness did not provide enough seal to launch it ,so to speak. Further experimentation revealed that if I loaded a spud as usual and hollowed out the leading edge of the spud with an ice cream scoop and filled that with the gooey sterno, man o man.As the ignition occurred the spud caught fire in the barrel and the projectile was aflame in flight. Totally cool, when it hit the dirt it looked like a napalm grenade kicking off. Won't be seeing it at JRRV tho. BUT thanks for the idea Gail.
I have another idea for something a little less exciting for the Reservation.just gotta scrounge up some "things".

We're in! Jeff let us know a spot opened for us so we are officially going!

SO- am I getting new neighbors??

NEil sent his check in, so he says, seems as he has a lot of faith in the pony express. Should his check not arrive before the drop dead date, is he out?? If his check arrives on 2 sept is he still in? kinda like the Nascar "free pass" ? OR under strict interpretation of the rules of engagement will his late check be returned and he banished to the pointless forrest for this rally? just wondering, and continuing to entertain the senior crowd.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that Neil is Grandfathered in; And will be accepted however his check is delivered. See you there Neil. [and doorgunner]
