BTW, if any of you are interested in coming early or staying late please feel free to do so. Just mark your reservation sheet accordingly. Patty thought it might be fun to get an extra day in so our plans at this point are to be up there on Thursday the 16th. Anyone else either coming early or extending their stay?

We woudl REALLY like to arrive a day early; but it doesn't look like we can, due to having to work.
Why, oh WHY must we WORK to pay the bills?
Oh, boo hoo.

Just a reminder we will be just over 90 days away in a week or so. Remember that we do not have a "lock" on these sites so it is important that if you think you may come, to get your reservations in. If you end up cancelling you will get $15 of your initial $20 deposit back. It's worth $5 even if your plans are a little shakey at this point.
Any questions?...please ask.
Regards,
Jack

We're planning on it!
We sent our reservation in today.
Our Airstream is supposed to start the build process tomorrow in Jackson Center and our TV is supposed to be built this week in Flint, Michigan.
So we will be there for our first rally! We are looking forward to meeting all of you!

Welcome, and congratulations on your new acquisition! It's 40 years newer than ours!
Is this your first Airstream?

Great to see you coming! I put you in the waiting for confirmation column. You are number 10. There will be lots of nice units to see on trailer tour day.

Ok, back out of hiding.... again....
I think I have secured a tow vehicle. Found a cheap Jeep Cherokee, which should get me to MVSP. SO, reservations are in the mail. Probably just me, but we'll have a good time. I'll try not to drink so much choc. milk this time.
Like you said Jack, if I can't tow Joey with that, and I loose my $5.00, I'll probably live.
Hey Hot Lava! I know a great decorator... we could really work up a grand ceremony for Eric and Brandy.... too bad they don't trust us....LOL

Hey the worst case you either sleep in the Jeep or pitch a tent!
We just got our spot confirmed yesterday so I updated the list for us and added you in the pending slot...
Good to hear from you. Missed you on the forum. If weather holds out and we can get the LCD projector, this may be the year that we can show Animal House!
Toga! Toga! Toga!

Hey... how light was that Airstream that was being pulled by the bicycle? I could get some good coverage, and maybe even the cover of Airstream Life if I pull it to the rally with my ten speed....LOL....!!!

I have actually witnessed a towing demonstration with a mountain bicycle being utilized to tow a 1948 Airstream Liner (I think that the coach was 22', but am not certain). The coach was owned by Clyde Wagner, leader of the 1999 Wagon Wheel Caravan to the WBCCI International Rally in Dayton, OH. Several of the VAC members tried their luck with the setup with varying degrees of success. The bicycle was equipped with a trailer brake controller and battery for power, and the trailer was completely empty but had most if not all of its factory furnishings. The photos below are those that I took during the demonstration.
