How big is it??

I just picked up a Worthington porpane tank. It is only 16 1/2 inches tall. I'm guessing 10 ponds?????

You can check the AirstreamDreams.com link for the sizes 20, 30 & 40 lb tanks (click on each size foor diagram)...sounds like yours may be smaller

Cool, wonder what it came off of.....

Date code on it is 7-73. A 10 pounder, what to do with it.

Guess the first thing is to get the valve updated and it re-certified.

It's actually called a Propane Distribution Tree and it's made by Coleman. We used it with a spare tank to hook-up our Road Trip Grill and our old Coleman propane lantern.

This setup works great when you want to leave your trailer tanks on the trailer and set-up the grill & lantern area elsewhere, away from the front of the trailer. It just attaches to the tank and then you hook your various hoses to the three outlets instead of carrying all those little canisters around.

We'd also like to get a propane 'campfire ring' someday for those locations that don't allow real ones.

We still use our LP "tree" with a lantern on top, and the necessary device hooked up lower down. Turkey Fryer, Stove, Fish Cooker, Grill whatever. Ted,
The BSA troop that I used to be a part of used the smaller tanks for campouts along with the post. IIRC ours were 10# tanks. Just the right size and fit real well in a milk crate to stabilize.

They have those 10# aluminum LP tanks at West's Marine stores. I think they are around $139, empty They are cute. I'll bet one would really look sharp all polished up.
