This is truly great news. Congradulations!

You folks have a great concept that will appeal.
You worked very hard and overcame the obstacles.
Very well done.
Now get to camping.

Congratulations Ken. I am off line most of the day and look what happened! I was feeling a little low regarding how it seemed the WBCCI was heading given some of the decisions I'd understood were made at this year's IBT and given some of the remarks I'd seen attributed to various members in attendance and now this very bright spot appears in the western sky to brighten my day.

I think you can attribute your success to your character, diplomacy and statesmanship. You stood on the high ground, you continued to stand on the high ground even in the face of adversity and because of that, you prevailed. On something as important as the formation of a new unit, if you had taken the low road your application for a charter would never have passed muster. You are to be commended for the man you are.

Though I doubt I'd ever get to attend a single FCU function, I will be sending you my check for an associate membership to help out and to show the IBT my support for your efforts. I am a quite satisfied member of the viable, growing, vintage friendly, fun and thoroughly progressive Texas Highland Lakes Unit, but I've followed your tribulations and now I want to be a part of your successes. When all the dust settles either post where we send our check or send me a PM.

Sorry we didn't get to come back through Tijeras from South Fork, Colorado to meet you, but we had a family emergency to arise which completely obliterated ALL of our plans. Again, congratulations to you and your supporters.

By the way, if you will check my posts, you'll not find a single one for or against the 4CU, yet here I am willing to send you a check. What is the significance of this fact, I'm not certain, but I'd argue there are others, many others out there in WBCCI land that are very interested in seeing you succeed who haven't joined in the banter back and forth about this and other current issues. I doubt I'm the only one. I hope that your other silent supporters would also send you some sort of support if nothing more than through letters or email to members of the IBT or to the WBCCI website. Silent supporters, let's send a clear signal to the powers that be.

Football Foto!

Hello all

Am posting this multiple places and have enow entirely forgotten where I said what. As such, I strat all over here and now.

I think that for the current crop of rallies ,and all that follow, be they NM rallies, AZ rallies, FCU rallies, WBCCI, and others, there needs to be a disignated person that winds up getting all attendies to come to a "Football Fofo" with the 1st roow on one knee, the 3nd leans over, the 3rd goupd id upraight and the 4th is ETC......

That way there is a unbiased history of all that attended. All the people that you could reconnect with from a simple photos.

There is simply too much RICH HISTORY that WILL get lost of there is no one keeping it alive. Keep the faith people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go. Now make it the best Unit in the WBCCI. I wish a progressive unit would be created somewhere here along the Mississippi River Valley. That would be a unit I would join. As it is I will stay on the sidelines.

We are in the process of setting up our accounts - Brad Norgaard (our treaserer) has been under the weather this week - so it may be next week when he is able to do a "call for charter members" - watch the forums - he will be posting there.
